Hello... My name is Yoda Offerman aka Swamp Goblin. Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in 1969 in southern Indiana (and still live here) and have had a very normal life. I found early on that I loved to play video games, I started out with an Atari 2600 and a Commodore 64 (yes, I found a way to play games on a Commodore 64). As a teenager I frequented the local arcades where I played Galaga, Tempest and Asteroids mainly.

My first computer was a HP with a massive 500mb hard drive. That was unheard of when I bought it in the 90s for $2500. Then I bought a VPR which was a nice computer, played games back then very well. After that one I started to build my own. It's funny, the PC I have now I didn't spend much more than my first HP and it is 1000 times better.

When I started back playing computer games, I started out playing Quake 3 Arena. That was back when they would release the engine of the game was played on for modders to mod. I only played that for a short time when I found Urban Terror a mod of Q3A and played that for a couple years. To this day that game still has a huge following, I still play it once in a while, very fast paced. While playing URT I tried out a number of other games such as Call of Duty United Offensive, Metal Of Honor and Battlefield. I stuck with the Battlefield series and some of the mods from the first one all the way to Battlefield 3 where I lost complete interest in the direction EA was taking the game. I had quit gaming for a while because of all the BS with first person shooters, just wasn't having fun anymore. So then I decided to try out MMOs. Started with Guildwars and finished it, then tried Rift and Star Wars The Old Republic didn't much care for them. Then came ArcheAge and I was hooked, for some reason I can't leave this game, I don't know what it is. It's the game I love to hate! Finally I left Archeage and now I play all kinds of games, not so much mmo's because they seem to take up so much time. Some of the games I play now are, Subnautica, all Borderlands series, Red Dead Redemption 2 RP and Destiny 2 just to name a few. I am always open to play something new. I am by no means a hardcore gamer, I'm not really very good at the games I play, but it's not about that for me, it's about having fun with the people that I have made friends with over the years of playing.

Anyway thanks for checking out my site, come by and say hello on Discord,  Twitch or Steam. Maybe we can play a game together.

Peace and Love

Yoda
